The supporters of Prishtina FC booed when Vale Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Imre Németh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Conrao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esat Naum, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 15th match minute, Prishtina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adi Zheku to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Prishtina FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Adi Zheku hit a great ball. Vale Verde's Aron Dahlbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Vale Verde from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esat Naum got free with Aron Dahlbom in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Prishtina FC's Donato Conrao dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 29th minute, Ramiro Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Labinot Grazhdani put in a rough tackle. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Prishtina FC! An unexpectedly hard shot by Boiken Juniku in the 39th minute of play forced Vale Verde's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lilo Berberi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esat Naum during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Esat Naum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Vale Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Lilo Berberi came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esat Naum scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Dahlbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esat Naum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Prishtina FC's Lilo Berberi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Dahlbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lilo Berberi in the 53rd minute of play. Boiken Juniku kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Hickey Dunne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Cardozo in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 67th minute Boiken Juniku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Esat Naum came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Prishtina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esat Naum couldn't finish the play. After 95 minutes, Eliseu Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vale Verde and the Prishtina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Prishtina FC had won after a very even match.
