Cosmopolitan FC's Tim Löv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Perez in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Oscar Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unikurdos United F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Löv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oriol Gavilanes kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Mário Kempes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tim Löv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriol Gavilanes in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Oriol Gavilanes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tim Löv was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Oriol Gavilanes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unikurdos United F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Oriol Gavilanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Löv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Perez in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Löv prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Montes Villar hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Mário Kempes came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hernandez Ventosa could save by the left post. Lawrence Osuna charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lawrence Osuna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ebardo Marichal made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Osasun Agriano however managed to control. After 40 played minutes Cosmopolitan FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Erik Gustavsson. After 43 minutes of play, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Oscar Perez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Löv was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Oscar Perez made the kick off in the second half. Tim Löv made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Oriol Gavilanes sent off a good shot on target. Tim Löv didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Hernandez Ventosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Kempes in the 60th minute of play. Mário Kempes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernandez Ventosa having to interfere. Cosmopolitan FC's Bo Kinell was substituted for Alvin Berg. Cosmopolitan FC's Tomas Skoog was substituted for Svante Kinell. Cosmopolitan FC made a substitution. Osvaldo Ermano replaced Torsten Jonsson. With 67 minutes on the clock, Indalecio Chavarria commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Tim Löv made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osasun Agriano in the 76th minute. Neomar Landers short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Tim Löv to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79th minute, Ebardo Marichal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Kempes in the 80th minute of play forced Unikurdos United F.C.'s goalkeeper Hernandez Ventosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Cosmopolitan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Kinell to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Osasun Agriano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tim Löv. That made the score 0-4 in the 92 minute of play. Unikurdos United F.C. played a much better game than Cosmopolitan FC and deserved their victory. The Cosmopolitan FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
