The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Adrian Platon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Perivaldo Azevedo. Santos City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Platon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Generoso Ereinotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Azevedo having to interfere. Alton Brutov kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Santos City booed when CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alto Flecha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jânio Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perivaldo Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Platon in the 20th minute of play. When Anselmo Furlan came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Santos City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Furlan couldn't finish the play. In the 28th match minute, Santos City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 29 in the game by Adrian Platon from a close distance when the talented Perivaldo Azevedo managed to make a qualified save. Santos City's players were relieved. When Alto Flecha came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alto Flecha couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the game, Alejo Carlomagno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Perivaldo Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Perivaldo Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Generoso Ereinotz sent off a good shot on target. After 47 minutes of play, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Alejo Carlomagno made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Perivaldo Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Furlan was the one to do the kick off. Eugenio Chesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Azevedo having to interfere. If Adrian Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Santos City defense, Eugenio Chesus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perivaldo Azevedo. The Santos City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perivaldo Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Maranhense hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Adrian Platon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Perivaldo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perivaldo Azevedo came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Don Blanco. But to his dismay, Don Blanco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The audience was convinced that Adrian Platon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Perivaldo Azevedo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Santos City's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Ereinotz came free, but Perivaldo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 played minutes Santos City got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Maranhense. Alto Flecha took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perivaldo Azevedo. Perivaldo Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Eugenio Chesus took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perivaldo Azevedo. Perivaldo Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Platon in the 91st minute of play. Perivaldo Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Chesus in the 94th minute of the match. Perivaldo Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Champagne went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ were the better team. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
