The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severino Lastur scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinho Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Edmílson Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Djimmy Guimard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Severino Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Claudinho Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Abad in the 24th minute of the match. Edmílson Senna was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Djimmy Guimard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Aguiar in the 28th minute of play. Djimmy Guimard didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Edmílson Senna shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 47th minute Josué Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djimmy Guimard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Ralondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Edmílson Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmílson Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Djimmy Guimard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 53 played minutes El Patriarca ® got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Mannuel. 55 minutes into the match, El Patriarca ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Josué Aguiar came free, but Djimmy Guimard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to El Patriarca ® getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Djimmy Guimard came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Gil Peres. But to his dismay, Gil Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Djimmy Guimard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Armando de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Patriarca ®'s Djimmy Guimard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Peres in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Peres in the 88th minute of play forced El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Djimmy Guimard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, El Patriarca ®'s Gustavo Dantae got a free kick in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Josué Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bazar Alegria E.C.
