Kirill Karamazov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brock Friend in the 41st minute of play. Alexei Karamazov kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Kirill Karamazov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Melquiades Pinto. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brock Friend to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Aguirres's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Karamazov came free, but Arnoldo Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Iván Karamazov sent off a good shot on target. Iván Karamazov took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Cordeiro. Arnoldo Cordeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Jairo Moita kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Karamázov supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Karamázov would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
