In the 6th match minute, AtLeTik AnTaLyA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efe Olcaytu to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes AtLeTik AnTaLyA got a freekick which was hit by Namık Kemal Şenbay. A collision led to Verwachting getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Wilco Kosterman hit a great ball. Kees Veentjer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuz Selimhan Tecimer in the 13th minute of play. Kees Veentjer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Selimhan Tecimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. AtLeTik AnTaLyA's Teoman Sunullah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save AtLeTik AnTaLyA from getting a goal against them. Verwachting's Franck Bakhuis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arif Gaffar Maruf, made in the 20th minute of the game. Franck Bakhuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Teoman Sunullah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kees Veentjer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şenel Özgurel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henk-Jan Opdam kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Kees Veentjer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yavuz Selimhan Tecimer in the 25th minute of the match. Henk-Jan Opdam got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Henk-Jan Opdam kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Verwachting's Kees Veentjer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Selimhan Tecimer in the 27th minute of play. Teoman Sunullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Zoontjens, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Wilco Kosterman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Teoman Sunullah made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Theo Zoontjens kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teoman Sunullah. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, AtLeTik AnTaLyA's Arif Gaffar Maruf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kees Veentjer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kees Veentjer came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by AtLeTik AnTaLyA's Arif Gaffar Maruf. But to his dismay, Arif Gaffar Maruf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kees Veentjer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şenel Özgurel in the 52nd minute of the match. Wilco Kosterman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th match minute, AtLeTik AnTaLyA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Gaffar Maruf to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the AtLeTik AnTaLyA defense, Theo Zoontjens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teoman Sunullah. The AtLeTik AnTaLyA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teoman Sunullah should have stopped the shot. Arif Gaffar Maruf made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Verwachting's Franck Bakhuis. Yavuz Selimhan Tecimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kees Veentjer having to interfere. Namık Kemal Şenbay came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kees Veentjer could save by the left post. The corner ended in 郭然俊 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Verwachting's Kees Veentjer did a great save. In the 79th minute, Wilco Kosterman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, AtLeTik AnTaLyA's Arda Baybars Açar got a free kick in the 81st minute. A collision led to AtLeTik AnTaLyA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Şenel Özgurel hit a great ball. Teoman Sunullah came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Verwachting's Theo Zoontjens. But to his dismay, Theo Zoontjens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. After a defensive mix-up in AtLeTik AnTaLyA's zone, Theo Zoontjens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teoman Sunullah came out of the goal and Theo Zoontjens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, AtLeTik AnTaLyA's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Zoontjens came free, but Teoman Sunullah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Dorukhan Nasreddin managed to get in a good position for a shot. AtLeTik AnTaLyA's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorukhan Nasreddin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kees Veentjer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Theo Zoontjens scored 7-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teoman Sunullah, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AtLeTik AnTaLyA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
