With an extended leg and a bit of luck Răzvan Fințescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Buster Miner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Benjamim Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Geovani do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Miner in the 42nd minute of play forced Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper Răzvan Fințescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Petru Şerban got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 61st minute of the match, Salvator Miner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Răzvan Fințescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvator Miner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Răzvan Fințescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
