With an all-out effort, TAXI-MM-'s Erland Söderberg threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nae Neguțu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Peder Rolfsson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Corneliu Chirea. Peder Rolfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Chirea having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 38th minute when Jarl Jansson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jarl Jansson struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Corneliu Chirea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fomac FK.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernest Strugure to make the kick off.
