When Cedro Palencia came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Club Getafe Deportivo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cedro Palencia couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, Carlos Jardel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Getafe Deportivo's Nicolao Sampil. Nicolao Sampil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After recieving a nice pass, Club Getafe Deportivo's Eli De Paula tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Edgard Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nicolao Sampil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cedro Palencia in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Germano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicolao Sampil came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Conceição's Inácio Lago. But to his dismay, Inácio Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cedro Palencia got free with Carlos Germano in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roldán Martinez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Carlos Germano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Celsinho Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celsinho Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Conceição's Celsinho Alcântara got a free kick in the 36th minute. The Club Getafe Deportivo fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Club Getafe Deportivo's Cedro Palencia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cedro Palencia came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Germano could save by the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.
A collision led to SC Conceição getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Magalhães hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute Mahoma Abrego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Mahoma Abrego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Germano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Inácio Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Nicolao Sampil made a huge save. After 58 played minutes SC Conceição got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Alcântara. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xusto Saavedra in the 59th minute of the match. Adán Villar hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Inácio Lago's shot from long distance in the 61st minute was not bad at all, but Club Getafe Deportivo's Nicolao Sampil knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 64th minute Xusto Saavedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolao Sampil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Getafe Deportivo's Nicolao Sampil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Alcântara in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, SC Conceição's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Viejo came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Conceição's zone, Cedro Palencia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Germano came out of the goal and Cedro Palencia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roldán Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Viejo in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match Club Getafe Deportivo got a corner. SC Conceição's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eli De Paula ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Zarando Redondo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Chants of SC Conceição echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Club Getafe Deportivo had held the ball for most of the match.
