The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes DJVAGALUMY FC. got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Vargas. Kléber Abreu came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Militros F.C.'s Cosimo Tagliente. But to his dismay, Cosimo Tagliente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 7th minute, Ronaldão Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandrinho Cunha struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Kléber Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Militros F.C.. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Sandrinho Cunha scored to the left of an out of position Kléber Abreu, making the score, 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Howard Layfield came free, but Kléber Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerd Pollmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Veiga in the 14th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match, Cosimo Tagliente got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kléber Abreu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gerd Pollmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Wanderson Valencia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléber Abreu. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson Valencia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When Ronaldão Silva came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Militros F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldão Silva couldn't finish the play. Evert Skräddare kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With his leg Kléber Abreu managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Militros F.C.'s Wanderson Valencia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 41st minute, Howard Layfield got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerd Pollmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wanderson Valencia was the one to do the kick off. The corner was taken by Paulinho Zanette in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Paulão Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléber Abreu. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulão Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After 63 minutes of play, Militros F.C.'s Cosimo Tagliente made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléber Abreu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Paulão Freire sped through DJVAGALUMY FC.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kléber Abreu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Tagliente in the 76th minute of play forced DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goalkeeper Kléber Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléber Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Tagliente, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by DJVAGALUMY FC.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sandrinho Cunha was slow to take the kick. During this time Militros F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Paulão Freire to score against Kléber Abreu in DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goal. 10-0 after 85 minutes. Henrique Sergipano might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerd Pollmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Sergipano ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrique Sergipano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Gerd Pollmann made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulão Freire in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kléber Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evert Skräddare hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, Militros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosimo Tagliente to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Militros F.C. had played much better football throughout.
