The supporters of Villadeatese FC booed when FC DNV Bratiskava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antón Čopka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Corrado Apolloni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villadeatese FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Corrado Apolloni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomáš Zednikovič breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Dorigatti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomáš Zednikovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Dorigatti in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villadeatese FC's Pitt Frøne got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Armando Dorigatti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villadeatese FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Dorigatti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Dorigatti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Tomáš Zednikovič when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 29 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Partil. In the 30th minute, Villadeatese FC's Amerigo Pedroni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Domenico Aloisi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee showed Eurico Pernambucano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Armando Dorigatti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomáš Zednikovič was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. If Armando Dorigatti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Darryl Fawcett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bohuš Dačev, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Dorigatti to make the kick off. Villadeatese FC's Armando Dorigatti got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Dorigatti in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomáš Zednikovič saved FC DNV Bratiskava from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Ladislav Gogoľ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st match minute, Villadeatese FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pitt Frøne to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes Villadeatese FC got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Apolloni. After a rather tough play, Villadeatese FC's Bernardo Cameli got a free kick in the 68th minute. Armando Dorigatti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Villadeatese FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Pitt Frøne hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Bohuš Dačev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC DNV Bratiskava fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After some careless play in the FC DNV Bratiskava defense, Armando Dorigatti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomáš Zednikovič. The FC DNV Bratiskava fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomáš Zednikovič should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute Corrado Apolloni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Zednikovič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Villadeatese FC fully deserved thier win.
