Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mingo Torrente got the match started through his kick off. GG Team FC's Flavio Gori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save GG Team FC from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Fausto Landolfi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Gori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mingo Torrente in the 14th minute of play. Paulo Montero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Nestor Tabb got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ermanno Carbonaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Bartuelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Mingo Torrente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Gori was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Flavio Gori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mingo Torrente, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Mingo Torrente did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Flavio Gori 38 minutes into the match. Flavio Gori came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Newells Old Boys's Anacleto Clementi. But to his dismay, Anacleto Clementi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

GG Team FC's Flavio Gori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Tabb in the 53rd minute of play. Leon Bartuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Carbonaro in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Mingo Torrente made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Gori. GG Team FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Flavio Gori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mingo Torrente kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Paulo Montero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Mingo Torrente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Gori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes, Newells Old Boys's Prospero Santo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavio Gori came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newells Old Boys reached it. After 85 played minutes Newells Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Clementi. Leon Bartuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno Carbonaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Nestor Tabb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Gori having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Alexander Di Cristofaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GG Team FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newells Old Boys the free kick. After a rather tough play, GG Team FC's Alexander Di Cristofaro got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Nestor Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Gori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newells Old Boys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
