The crowd rose to their feet as Saverio Burcena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximiliano Astudillo. That made the score 4-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 33rd minute C.J. Kaku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Burcena, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Alejandro Mendebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hayalim Kedoshim the free kick. Kaku fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hayalim Kedoshim's protests and gave C.J. Kaku a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes Hayalim Kedoshim got a freekick which was hit by C.J. Kaku. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The Hayalim Kedoshim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Nicolas Mirantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SAN MARTIN F.C. booed when Hayalim Kedoshim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Pineros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hayalim Kedoshim's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernardino Ospin was slow to take the kick. During this time SAN MARTIN F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Alejandro Mendebal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Maximiliano Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Mirantes in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Mirantes in the 96th minute of play forced SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hayalim Kedoshim's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
