In the 4th minute Matthías Šindelář shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anestis Kakalis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Perrando having to interfere. Eliseu Negri was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Cornelio Inge capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cornelio Inge really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, New Loser FC's Hernani Ramos got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Anestis Kakalis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Fernando Perrando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 minutes of play, New Loser FC's Anestis Kakalis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Perrando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anestis Kakalis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Inge scored 2-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Negri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anestis Kakalis took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Perrando. Fernando Perrando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s zone, Anestis Kakalis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Perrando came out of the goal and Anestis Kakalis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Avellaneda. Aírton Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Perrando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New Loser FC were winning 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthías Šindelář to strike the kick off in the second half. Hernani Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Fernando Perrando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anestis Kakalis in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, New Loser FC's Anestis Kakalis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. 60 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Ramos came free, but Fernando Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Matthías Šindelář shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseu Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Inge in the 67th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Sasoin during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uriel Sasoin hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. A hard shot 70 in the game by Anestis Kakalis from a close distance when the talented Fernando Perrando managed to make a qualified save. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s players were relieved. 73 minutes into the match, Anestis Kakalis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernando Perrando, 2-5. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Perrando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Iván Kuzmenko with Segundo Ponciano as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 92nd minute Cornelio Inge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as New Loser FC's Anestis Kakalis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Perrando. That made the score 2-6 after 95 minutes of play.
