An unexpectedly hard shot by Zinon Papadakos in the 10th minute of play forced AC 1986 Vinalito's goalkeeper Evaristo Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinon Papadakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Makis Karoubalis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vakoufi Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Makis Karoubalis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Kalista kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Trifon Iraklideas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evaristo Ovando skillfully saved the ball. In the 17th minute, Zinon Papadakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christos Ouzounidis in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Ovando saved AC 1986 Vinalito from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, Vakoufi Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trifon Iraklideas to maneuver through the defense. Nektarios Korakakis kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to AC 1986 Vinalito getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jose Benvido hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Christos Ouzounidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vakoufi Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Christos Ouzounidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Ovando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viktoras Natsikas to make the kick off. Evaristo Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinon Papadakos in the 52nd minute of the match. Marco Sol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Petros Vasdekis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 57th minute when Zinon Papadakos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Viktoras Natsikas's late challenge caught a AC 1986 Vinalito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktoras Natsikas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Vakoufi Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktoras Natsikas to maneuver through the defense. Viktoras Natsikas came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evaristo Ovando could save by the left post. Zinon Papadakos struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Evaristo Ovando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vakoufi Utd. The supporters of AC 1986 Vinalito booed when Vakoufi Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trifon Iraklideas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Christos Ouzounidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Ovando was relentless in the 76th minute of the game.
