Petros Vasdekis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Itzaina in the 15th minute of the match. Petros Vasdekis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Inge, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Fernando Perrando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save INDEPENDIENTE F.C. from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the game, Viktoras Natsikas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fernando Perrando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zinon Papadakos came free, but Fernando Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vakoufi Utd's Petros Vasdekis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Inge in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktoras Natsikas got free with Fernando Perrando in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cornelio Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Vasdekis having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Trifon Iraklideas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Inge to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Vakoufi Utd's Viktoras Natsikas made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Perrando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viktoras Natsikas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fernando Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Inge struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Petros Vasdekis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INDEPENDIENTE F.C.. Cornelio Inge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petros Vasdekis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Fernando Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinon Papadakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes Vakoufi Utd got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Iraklideas. In the 65th minute Isidoro Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petros Vasdekis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Fernando Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinon Papadakos in the 71st minute of play. Petros Vasdekis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Inge in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Avellaneda. Akakios Vogiatzakis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Vakoufi Utd booed when INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Inge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Petros Vasdekis made a huge save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Vakoufi Utd were victorious despite being under pressure from INDEPENDIENTE F.C. for much of the match.
