The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Hoberg United's Cristoffer Lindtoft slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lech Nakoneczny. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Russówek's Lech Nakoneczny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Russówek from getting a goal against them. Hoberg United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristoffer Lindtoft in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Cristoffer Lindtoft managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoberg United's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristoffer Lindtoft was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lech Nakoneczny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hoberg United's Don Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Pozorski in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Bernard Trochowski got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Oluf Stensvang fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoberg United's protests and gave Oluf Stensvang a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Russówek booed when Hoberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oluf Stensvang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Don Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Pozorski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Stuart Kaad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Napoleon Hludzenski charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Napoleon Hludzenski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Don Hoberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Lech Nakoneczny made a huge save. Don Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Pozorski in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Kajetan Zagrodny got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Tadeusz Pozorski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hoberg United's Don Schmeichel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Don Hoberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Roald Reher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Stasio Prusinowski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hoberg United's Don Schmeichel didn't even have to move. A collision led to Russówek getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bernard Trochowski hit a great ball. Piotr Adamus struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Don Schmeichel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Russówek. The supporters of Russówek booed when Hoberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Vidø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrzej Solibieda's late challenge caught a Hoberg United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrzej Solibieda helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Russówek getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Andrzej Solibieda hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Andrzej Solibieda got a free kick in the 79th minute. Lech Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Hoberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Russówek's Lech Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Grabow in the 85th minute of play. In the 96th minute Russówek were awarded a corner. Stasio Prusinowski went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Russówek's corner Piotr Adamus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Don Schmeichel quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hoberg United had won after a very even match.
