A collision led to RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ronaldão Fenomeno hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Otsando came free, but Celedonio Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Ronaldão Fenomeno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Luar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Eduardo Rexino got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Gizon made a kick off. Rogelio Clodio hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. San Martin de Tucuman's Herminio Iyan got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timoteo Bartolome could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Celedonio Peruxu made a huge save. Justin Abril showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Gizon in the 71st minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Edgar Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Martin de Tucuman made a substitution. Esteban Bitxintxo replaced Maximo Arotza. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 made a substitution. Niceto Chago replaced Eduardo Rexino. After 77 played minutes RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Capixaba. Justin Abril showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Gizon in the 93rd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Thodoris Katsiaros put in a rough tackle. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
