Kerim Sav didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boruc Szostak went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bornova's Çeliker Barbaros suffered a sore thigh after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Konstanty Winnicki charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konstanty Winnicki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes MZ Wodzisław Śląski got a freekick which was hit by Konstanty Winnicki. After a rather tough play, Bornova's Sergen Tanaltay got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to Bornova getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cafer Sonalp hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Szostak came free, but Kerim Sav reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Sermet Yalgın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedykt Kiszkiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bornova's Sermet Yalgın got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Boruc Szostak made a precise shot to the right of Kerim Sav. Bornova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 29th minute Franciszek Gongola suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 29 minutes into the game, Acun Tamerk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bornova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MZ Wodzisław Śląski the free kick. After 30 played minutes Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Acun Tamerk. 0-4 became the score in the 31st minute when Konstanty Winnicki elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Kaminski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Kerim Sav was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the match, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goalkeeper Benedykt Kiszkiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sermet Yalgın. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sermet Yalgın in the 43rd minute of play. Sermet Yalgın hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

56 minutes into the game, Boruc Szostak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Kerim Sav was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedykt Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sermet Yalgın in the 61st minute of play. Radomir Werra hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Sermet Yalgın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bornova's supporters rose to their feet, but Sermet Yalgın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedykt Kiszkiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute of the match, Eugeniusz Kaminski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kerim Sav saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Acun Tamerk was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. A collision led to Bornova getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Acun Tamerk hit a great ball. Kerim Sav was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Czeslaw Jerzyk. 76 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Kaminski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kerim Sav, 0-8. If Sermet Yalgın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafal Zawada's late challenge caught a Bornova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafal Zawada helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes MZ Wodzisław Śląski got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Zawada. After having played for 92 minutes, Sermet Yalgın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bornova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sermet Yalgın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kerim Sav made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Szostak in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MZ Wodzisław Śląski walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
