A sloppy throw-in by Celestino Zapico in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Departamento Deshabitado's Santos Omero. In the 4th minute, Javier Fidele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Altza Herria's Vachon Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Marcos Saavedra took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gervasio Sergi to make any attempt to save it. In the 13th minute, Juan Sánchez made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Sergi. Departamento Deshabitado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Vladimiro Ceandro charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimiro Ceandro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Departamento Deshabitado:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Altza Herria:s goal. In the 17th minute, Altza Herria got a penalty, and Ernani de Amaral placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Gervasio Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Bouzas in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Juan Sánchez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altza Herria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 27 played minutes Altza Herria got a freekick which was hit by Anatolio Coello. Gervasio Sergi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sánchez in the 30th minute of the match. Departamento Deshabitado's Gervasio Sergi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Saavedra in the 32nd minute of play. Departamento Deshabitado's Gervasio Sergi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Departamento Deshabitado from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Marcos Saavedra made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Sergi. Departamento Deshabitado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Vachon Ortiz had several of the Departamento Deshabitado's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Gervasio Sergi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vladimiro Ceandro hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Departamento Deshabitado's Gervasio Sergi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Departamento Deshabitado from getting a goal against them. Departamento Deshabitado's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Federico Bouzas 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 8-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vachon Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Marcos Saavedra notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Departamento Deshabitado's Gervasio Sergi. Gervasio Sergi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gervasio Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Bouzas in the 61st minute of play. Ovidio Peter kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Vachon Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11-0 became the score in the 68th minute when Federico Bouzas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 71 minutes of play, Altza Herria's Marcos Saavedra made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Sergi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th match minute, Departamento Deshabitado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Peter to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Sergi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vachon Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Sergi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Federico Bouzas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Sergi was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. 81 minutes into the game, Juan Sánchez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Gervasio Sergi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, Marcos Saavedra notched a goal, 15-0, to the right of Departamento Deshabitado's Gervasio Sergi. Gervasio Sergi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Departamento Deshabitado defense, Vachon Ortiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervasio Sergi. The Departamento Deshabitado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Sergi should have stopped the shot. After having played for 91 minutes, Federico Bouzas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altza Herria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Bouzas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Saavedra took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Sergi. Gervasio Sergi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 17-0. When the referee ended the match the Altza Herria players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
