The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Ahsoka Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Palacios to maneuver through the defense. If Magno Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute, Pepe Giliamsen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 13 minutes into the game, Ahsoka Team's Ismael Mrabet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. César Quirino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magno Bertassi during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Magno Bertassi. With a little luck, Ahsoka Team's Hitz Molina got control of the ball when Fernandinho Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fernandinho Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hitz Molina was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Robinho Bittencourt made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ahsoka Team's Karlo Menendez. 31 minutes into the match, Fernandinho Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hitz Molina. Ahsoka Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandinho Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 33rd minute of the match, Pepe Giliamsen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hitz Molina was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ahsoka Team's Hitz Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Cruz in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Anísio Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gurdurão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anísio Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anísio Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hitz Molina having to interfere. A collision led to Ahsoka Team getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Lawrence Arratia hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Ahsoka Team's Ismael Mrabet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Quirino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Ahsoka Team getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Karlo Menendez hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Robinho Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ismael Mrabet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Ahsoka Team's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Cruz came free, but Hitz Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lawrence Arratia hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Hitz Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandinho Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Hitz Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepe Giliamsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 minutes, Fernandinho Cruz made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ahsoka Team's Hitz Molina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Magno Bertassi. After some careless play in the Gurdurão defense, Daniel Calderon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Quirino. The Gurdurão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Quirino should have stopped the shot. After 91 minutes of play, Gurdurão's Pepe Giliamsen made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hitz Molina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hitz Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gurdurão were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
