After some careless play in the Chaponnay FC defense, Blanco Lambarida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dilan Bobet. The Chaponnay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dilan Bobet should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Zuriko Lagala got control of the ball when Kevan Brossier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Blanco Lambarida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dilan Bobet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Blanco Lambarida took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dilan Bobet. Dilan Bobet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charly Boisson in the 34th minute of play forced Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Zuriko Lagala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Chaponnay FC got a freekick which was hit by Sofiane Derville. If Xusto Vada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dilan Bobet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xusto Vada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, Chaponnay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofiane Derville to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Juan-Carlos Alamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inter de Guayaquil FC made a substitution. Nereo Florian replaced Diego Di Maria. Arthur Rannou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arthur Rannou to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Blanco Lambarida reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dilan Bobet. The goal made the score 0-4. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chaponnay FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xusto Vada was slow to take the kick. During this time Inter de Guayaquil FC's players had a chance to rest. Zuriko Lagala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Rannou in the 65th minute of the match. Blanco Lambarida had several of the Chaponnay FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Dilan Bobet as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 71 played minutes Chaponnay FC got a freekick which was hit by Steve Carrier.
