Paolo Caradaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Olof Kihlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Benigno Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Kihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitaly Skalazub was the one to do the kick off. Paolo Caradaro in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Per-Olof Kihlberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Nikita Omarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FORTALEZA getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Staneslav Kotov hit a great ball. If Eustaquio Jaizki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Paolo Caradaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Per-Olof Kihlberg made a huge save. Eustaquio Jaizki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Per-Olof Kihlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benigno Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
