In the 11th minute, Francisco Rencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Svanér was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Paulo Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Uter in the 15th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Magnus Spetz was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Osmar Nunes sped through Eleven Nation Army's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Svanér. After 82 minutes of play, Guararapes's Francisco Rencio made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eleven Nation Army's Marcus Svanér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Nunes in the 96th minute of play. Guararapes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Eleven Nation Army for a fine match.
