A nice corner shot did that Leonides Furman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Egil Sølve quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julian Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. XENEIXES FC's Ignacy Niewiadomski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonni Dong in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Alvarez in the 35th minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Egil Sølve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Egil Sølve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XENEIXES FC. Egil Sølve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Larhøj. In the 44th minute, Julian Alvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XENEIXES FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. XENEIXES FC's Ignacy Niewiadomski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save XENEIXES FC from getting a goal against them.

After 52 minutes, Morthen Helmi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holmkjar Hotspurs and the XENEIXES FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Holmkjar Hotspurs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 53 minutes, XENEIXES FC's Leonides Furman got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Egil Sølve. Ignacy Niewiadomski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oluf Ankerbøl in the 56th minute of play. Henrijs Knutiņš's late challenge caught a Holmkjar Hotspurs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrijs Knutiņš helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Henrijs Knutiņš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Oluf Ankerbøl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Holmkjar Hotspurs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joni Rahardjo got free with Egil Sølve in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Julian Alvarez took a quick shot and it went in 3-5 without a chance for Egil Sølve to make any attempt to save it. Joni Rahardjo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Egil Sølve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The XENEIXES FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing XENEIXES FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
