Cuervo Loco FC's Franco Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Trac in the 6th minute of play. Franco Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Hainl, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, International Thunders's Tim Köppen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tim Köppen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of International Thunders protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tim Köppen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in International Thunders fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! In the 18th match minute, Cuervo Loco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Gonsalve to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Cuervo Loco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Dohr came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Gonsalve came free, but Thorsten Ternes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 39 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Damian Trac. In the 42nd minute Gerrit Dohr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, International Thunders's Gualterio Luar got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Trac in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Trac was the one to do the kick off. Thomas Zielinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Armani having to interfere. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Trac in the 79th minute of the match. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Franco Armani as he didn't even see the shot coming.
