Jessie Nangam got in the 5th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Philip Mattsson handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Frans Mellin's late challenge caught a Branco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frans Mellin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Branco FC booed when FK Ekebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Mellin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jessie Nangam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FK Ekebo's Philip Mattsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FK Ekebo from getting a goal against them. Frans Mellin kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Jessie Nangam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FK Ekebo's zone, Jessie Nangam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Mattsson came out of the goal and Jessie Nangam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jessie Nangam got free with Philip Mattsson in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 played minutes FK Ekebo got a freekick which was hit by Vilgot Salqvist. 45 minutes into the match, FK Ekebo's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Gargasz came free, but Philip Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jessie Nangam to strike the kick off in the second half. Philip Mattsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Branco FC fully deserved thier win.
