Fernan Chepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Temperley's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert Kirby was slow to take the kick. During this time Granate's players had a chance to rest. In the 12th minute, Gustavo Resto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Primo to maneuver through the defense. Hector Casse made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Fernan Chepe sent off a good shot on target. Fernan Chepe hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Elpidio Faro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Granate's Jonathan Palmquist. Jonathan Palmquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Granate's Gustavo Resto got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sebastian Canor might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Palmquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Canor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Dalmacio Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Faro in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Palmquist saved Granate from getting behind. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Robert Kirby hit a great ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Romeo Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Temperley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Matthew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hector Casse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Chepe in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Granate's zone, Romeo Matthew stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Palmquist came out of the goal and Romeo Matthew tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Granate's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elpidio Faro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Temperley's Hector Casse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Chepe in the 61st minute of play. Elpidio Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Casse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Elpidio Faro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Palmquist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Galtero came free, but Hector Casse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Kirby scored 3-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Casse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gustavo Resto fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granate's protests and gave Gustavo Resto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gustavo Resto hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosme Alonso during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elpidio Faro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Palmquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Sergi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granate the free kick. After a rather tough play, Temperley's Dalmacio Sergi got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Robert Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Casse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Granate's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
