Husky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Sanz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Temperley's Hector Casse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Che Camacho in the 14th minute of play. Belmiro Martínez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Hector Casse made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Julian Primo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, C.A. Husky's Antxo Vidal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hector Casse. Hector Casse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hector Casse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Sanz in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match C.A. Husky got a corner. Temperley's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tadeo Sanz ran over to the corner to take the kick. 33 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Che David came free, but Hector Casse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Casse was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Che David. Romeo Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Temperley's zone, Franco Vázquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Casse came out of the goal and Franco Vázquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to C.A. Husky getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Che David hit a great ball. Hector Casse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeo Sanz in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Faro was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Julian Primo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Temperley and the C.A. Husky players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Julian Primo. C.A. Husky's Tadeo Sanz got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antxo Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Hector Casse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antxo Vidal in the 59th minute of the match. Elpidio Faro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Felip Etxeberria made a huge save.
