58 minutes into the game, Szentgotthárd's Pancho Puskás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ted Lund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Zakariás Tótfalusi sped through Mosjö Sportklubb's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ted Lund. In the 68th minute, Marcus Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Mosjö Sportklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Zakariás Tótfalusi came free, but Ted Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
