The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute, Thodoris Mavromatakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Trifillia.FC's Konstantinos Kapareliotis got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes, Sportivo Luan Toro's Oscar Martín shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Panagiotis Kolleris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportivo Luan Toro reached it. In the 16th minute, Giotis Sartzetakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes, Sportivo Luan Toro's Christian Guillelmo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Panagiotis Kolleris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportivo Luan Toro reached it. After some careless play in the Trifillia.FC defense, Erubiel Laurin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panagiotis Kolleris. The Trifillia.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panagiotis Kolleris should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimos Violopoulos got free with Joaquin Mingo in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Christian Guillelmo. Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Giotis Sartzetakis 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. If Erubiel Laurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sportivo Luan Toro booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thodoris Mavromatakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Erubiel Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panagiotis Kolleris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Rumaldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Trifillia.FC's Panagiotis Kolleris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Laurin in the 57th minute of play. Joel Rumaldo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Panagiotis Kolleris came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Rumaldo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Sportivo Luan Toro's Oscar Martín ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Panagiotis Kolleris. Panagiotis Kolleris yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Panagiotis Kolleris made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Joel Rumaldo sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Joel Rumaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panagiotis Kolleris was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 87th minute, Erubiel Laurin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. After 90 played minutes Joel Rumaldo rounded Trifillia.FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. With a little luck, Trifillia.FC's Panagiotis Kolleris got control of the ball when Erubiel Laurin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Trifillia.FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sportivo Luan Toro's performance. The match ended with a win for Sportivo Luan Toro.
