The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Marcel Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Aírton de Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Mitxaut. In the 30th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Berger hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Boca Juniors's Fermin Araoz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aírton de Amorim but with some difficulty. 35 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Ignado came free, but Aírton de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Boca Juniors's Aírton de Amorim threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evelio Ignado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Icoara Football Club's Aírton de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Ignado in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Bemabe got free with Aírton de Amorim in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aírton de Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Mitxaut in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Berger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcel Berger struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Zeledon Kiliz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Icoara Football Club. Aírton de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Ignado in the 55th minute of the match. Aírton de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustacio Mitxaut went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute Romeo Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Icoara Football Club booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Rudolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aírton de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Mitxaut's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Icoara Football Club's Aírton de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Ignado in the 73rd minute of play. Aírton de Amorim came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Eustacio Mitxaut. But to his dismay, Eustacio Mitxaut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 79 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Ignado came free, but Aírton de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Mitxaut came free, but Aírton de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes of play, Icoara Football Club's Oséas Vander made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Kiliz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boca Juniors walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
