When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gabriel Távora sped through Icoara Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aírton de Amorim. Aírton de Amorim came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Terceirense F.C.'s Gabriel Távora. But to his dismay, Gabriel Távora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, Gabriel Távora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aírton de Amorim. Icoara Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Távora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Aírton de Amorim came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Terceirense F.C.'s Gabriel Távora. But to his dismay, Gabriel Távora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 19th minute, Gabriel Távora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aírton de Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Gabriel Távora struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Aírton de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terceirense F.C.. In the 26th minute Gabriel Távora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Icoara Football Club getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dário de Godoi hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Adalberto Pegado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aírton de Amorim skillfully saved the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Terceirense F.C.'s Gabriel Távora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aírton de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Gabriel Távora put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Aírton de Amorim. In the 41st minute, Gabriel Távora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terceirense F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Luis in the 45th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Aírton de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Viriato Semedo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 57 minutes into the game, Gabriel Távora recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aírton de Amorim. Gabriel Távora showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Aírton de Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Luis in the 66th minute. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Icoara Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mário Rijo was slow to take the kick. During this time Terceirense F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Lucas Luis struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Aírton de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terceirense F.C.. Carlos Mafra charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Mafra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 79 minutes into the match, Anselmo Baldaia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aírton de Amorim. Icoara Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Baldaia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Anselmo Baldaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aírton de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Baldaia in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Baldaia came free, but Aírton de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Terceirense F.C.'s Anselmo Baldaia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. The Icoara Football Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Terceirense F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
