Juan Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Innocenzio Sesse in the 12th minute of play forced Tabajara Londrina LBFC's goalkeeper Juan Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tadeu Gøth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Arantes was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Tabajara Londrina LBFC defense, Tadeu Gøth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Arantes. The Tabajara Londrina LBFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Arantes should have stopped the shot. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Gøth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match, Dinei Fernandez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Clive Shilton was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Juan Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Gøth in the 42nd minute of play. Clive Shilton made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Dinei Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Tadeu Gøth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tala Bosques del Jaure's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeu Gøth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Tabajara Londrina LBFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tala Bosques del Jaure were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeu Gøth to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Tala Bosques del Jaure's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Fernandez came free, but Clive Shilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tala Bosques del Jaure's Laurgain Idiaquez was substituted for Sydney Gomes. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Marcelo Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tala Bosques del Jaure's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlin Carmenata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Tala Bosques del Jaure booed when Tabajara Londrina LBFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gündüz Engiay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Arantes. Tabajara Londrina LBFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 庄广乐 might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Arantes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 庄广乐 ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute 庄广乐 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, one of Tabajara Londrina LBFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tabajara Londrina LBFC. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Tala Bosques del Jaure's Gündüz Engiay got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Juan Arantes. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tala Bosques del Jaure had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
