Samuel Enström made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Jesus Gentza sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the spikarna defense, Arnulfo Dolcet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Enström. The spikarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Enström should have stopped the shot. Arnulfo Dolcet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samuel Enström came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnulfo Dolcet slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. Jesus Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Strömbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Arnulfo Dolcet got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Gregory got free with Samuel Enström in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56th minute, Måns Siggesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Tönnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesus Gentza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pueyrredón booed when spikarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Jesus Gentza got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jesus Gentza hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Samuel Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Gentza, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C. S. D. Pueyrredón had played much better football throughout.
