Wincenty Tepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Victor Blasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wincenty Tepper narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wincenty Tepper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Araoz in the 21st minute of the match. When Angel Araoz came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Araoz couldn't finish the play. If Angel Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Higinio Domeka successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 30th minute of the match FC Catalonia got a corner. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stanislaw Majewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Catalonia's corner Stanislaw Majewski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Higinio Domeka quite easily take care of the ball. Xavi Simmons's late challenge caught a TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavi Simmons helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, FC Catalonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavi Simmons to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

FC Catalonia's Wincenty Tepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Araoz in the 52nd minute of play. Xavi Simmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Higinio Domeka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Ubarna during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, FC Catalonia's Igor Zbikowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higinio Domeka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. FC Catalonia's Wincenty Tepper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save FC Catalonia from getting a goal against them. When David Villa came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC Catalonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Villa couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Saverio Clementi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Igor Zbikowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 defense, David Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Domeka. The TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Domeka should have stopped the shot.
