Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Jobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, UFC STEAUA's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Hulberto came free, but Costică Petran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, NECKER49's Remigio Astudillo got a free kick in the 21st minute. A collision led to UFC STEAUA getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kong Xiang Hao hit a great ball. NECKER49's Keylor Navas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save NECKER49 from getting a goal against them. After 35 played minutes NECKER49 got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Baladi. Costică Petran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Baladi in the 37th minute of the match. NECKER49's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Baladi in the 38th minute. After taking down the ball on NECKER49's corner Lucas Baladi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Costică Petran quite easily take care of the ball. In the 41st minute, Fausto Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelson Mendoza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Mendoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costică Petran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Ardiles, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Keylor Navas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Mendoza in the 55th minute of play. Romeo Hulberto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Costică Petran firmly grabbed it by the left post. Costică Petran made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Lucas Baladi sent off a good shot on target. NECKER49's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Asur in the 70th minute. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UFC STEAUA! The goalkeeper, Costică Petran, was totally fooled by NECKER49's Fausto Asur, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 81st match minute, UFC STEAUA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Jobo to maneuver through the defense. Bongky Dermawan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Costică Petran having to make a save. Bongky Dermawan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Costică Petran came out and tried to block the shot, but Bongky Dermawan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 84th minute. Nicanor Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Costică Petran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Remigio Astudillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costică Petran was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 92nd match minute, UFC STEAUA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Hodorog to maneuver through the defense. UFC STEAUA's Costică Petran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save UFC STEAUA from getting a goal against them. The UFC STEAUA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. NECKER49 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
