Bajen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AJ Juventus FC the free kick. In the 10th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Baez to maneuver through the defense. Pascal Avalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huly Francia, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Dong Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Clemente Ribota made a huge save. If Lorenz Cedron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Ribota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vergaray Bernabeytia, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vergaray Bernabeytia in the 26th minute of play forced AJ Juventus FC's goalkeeper Clemente Ribota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes, Anton Trimble mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.D. Bajen and the AJ Juventus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AJ Juventus FC booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Trimble didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brent Cowan got free with Clemente Ribota in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clemente Ribota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent Cowan in the 46th minute of the match. When Brent Cowan came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the S.D. Bajen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brent Cowan couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlie Bravo was the one to do the kick off. Clemente Ribota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vergaray Bernabeytia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
