José Antonio Ensslin kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. S.D. Bajen's Jorge Baez got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giancarlo Beltrán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Cowan in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Tony Kirby got a free kick in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Charlie Bravo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Giancarlo Beltrán, 1-0. When Jonathan Oyarzabal came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the CDU Católica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Oyarzabal couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Filiberto Arbildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in S.D. Bajen's zone, Jose Ramon Delpiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Avalos came out of the goal and Jose Ramon Delpiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Oyarzabal took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascal Avalos. Pascal Avalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Oyarzabal was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, S.D. Bajen's Pascal Avalos got control of the ball when Giancarlo Cervantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pascal Avalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Oyarzabal's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes, Rodrigo Bezanilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CDU Católica and the S.D. Bajen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Rodrigo Bezanilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Dong Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giancarlo Beltrán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascal Avalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Oyarzabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giancarlo Beltrán didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Callahan went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Callahan during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CDU Católica booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Callahan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giancarlo Beltrán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent Cowan in the 80th minute of the match. CDU Católica's Giancarlo Beltrán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Cowan in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graham Diaz during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graham Diaz to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to CDU Católica getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ireno Helo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Charlie Bravo got a free kick in the 91st minute. José Antonio Ensslin hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. S.D. Bajen had won after a very even match.
