Alisdair Ferries was a little too slow when Sefa Danış got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. The supporters of Vänge IF booed when Lord of the Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finlay Falconer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alisdair Ferries was a little too slow when Sefa Danış got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. Fergus Clement hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Vänge IF's Gabriel Munhoz in action when he in the 28th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a rather tough play, Lord of the Wings's Stuart McLucas got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Vänge IF's Sefa Danış ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alisdair Ferries. Alisdair Ferries yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. 37 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's Sefa Danış sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alisdair Ferries narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Lord of the Wings's Alisdair Ferries got control of the ball when Sefa Danış tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Vänge IF made a substitution. Bengt Vestlund replaced Sven Caspersson. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Mikael Wenerdahl sped through Lord of the Wings's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alisdair Ferries. Vänge IF's Lorien Vilela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Falconer in the 59th minute of play. Vänge IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bengt Vestlund in the 62nd minute. Alisdair Ferries showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sefa Danış, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Lord of the Wings's Alisdair Ferries played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sefa Danış in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Sefa Danış shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisdair Ferries saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes, Stuart McLucas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lord of the Wings and the Vänge IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lord of the Wings getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Stuart McLucas hit a great ball. Alisdair Ferries showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sefa Danış in the 79th minute of the match. Vänge IF were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Lord of the Wings's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bengt Vestlund took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Mikael Wenerdahl to score against Alisdair Ferries in Lord of the Wings's goal. 7-0 after 81 minutes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Theo Roberts during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Theo Roberts kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Alisdair Ferries took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Wenerdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alisdair Ferries showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sefa Danış, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Vänge IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bengt Vestlund in the 93rd minute. Bengt Vestlund made a great header on Vänge IF's corner, it was just that Lord of the Wings's Alisdair Ferries managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 94th match minute, Lord of the Wings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stuart McLucas to maneuver through the defense. Alisdair Ferries didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikael Wenerdahl went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Lord of the Wings defense, Sefa Danış kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alisdair Ferries. The Lord of the Wings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alisdair Ferries should have stopped the shot. Vänge IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
