Nedim Mekić started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Blue Warriors™'s Pero Talić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luke Scheerens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pero Talić scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luke Scheerens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luke Scheerens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedim Mekić, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Luke Scheerens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nedim Mekić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Scheerens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Little in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantijn Philippaerts to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Luke Scheerens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Aballe. 26 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Pero Talić came free, but Luke Scheerens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Scheerens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedim Mekić in the 28th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Pero Talić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Scheerens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pero Talić in the 38th minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Luke Scheerens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Andi Rajović fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue Warriors™'s protests and gave Andi Rajović a yellow card for diving instead. Arnoldo Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Scheerens having to interfere. Neriman Vlatkić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luukas Schooters, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Jure Peskalj fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue Warriors™'s protests and gave Jure Peskalj a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KV Schoonwater's Luukas Schooters got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Blue Warriors™'s Said Alić was substituted for Jure Peskalj. After 64 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Luukas Schooters. Arnoldo Aballe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luke Scheerens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Širmerd Begović in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Arnoldo Aballe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Scheerens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blue Warriors™ made a substitution. Firuz Račić replaced Andi Rajović. Benedict Moreau hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The Blue Warriors™ fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Blue Warriors™'s Nedim Mekić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Neriman Vlatkić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarno Jongbloedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Pero Talić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Scheerens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Rijmenams hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to Blue Warriors™ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Širmerd Begović hit a great ball. Luukas Schooters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Neriman Vlatkić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
