After 24 minutes, Vítor Roque made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. HORTALEZA FC's Carlo Sánchez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Vítor Roque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlo Sánchez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Vítor Roque scored 1-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlo Sánchez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Vítor Roque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, Lite Finare Lite Bättre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Westerberg to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathias Bäck was the one to do the kick off. HORTALEZA FC's Carlo Sánchez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save HORTALEZA FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Lite Finare Lite Bättre getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Agne Eliasson hit a great ball. Magnus Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Balboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, HORTALEZA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Bäck came free, but Carlo Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Utfal hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Torrente came free, but Magnus Hedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ove Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goal looked a bit too open when Eneas Munoz came free, but Magnus Hedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match HORTALEZA FC got a corner. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valentín Buenafuente ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 76th minute, Ove Hökkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lite Finare Lite Bättre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Agne Eliasson with Arne Ek as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 89th minute Ivar Utfal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HORTALEZA FC were furious when Erasto Beloki was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 96 played minutes HORTALEZA FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasto Beloki. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lite Finare Lite Bättre eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
