The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Dahlin got free with Luke Scheerens in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magnus Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedict Moreau, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Luke Scheerens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Dahlin in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Johnny Verdonck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KV Schoonwater's Luke Scheerens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save KV Schoonwater from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arne Ek in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luke Scheerens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luukas Schooters in the 44th minute of play forced Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalkeeper Magnus Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Dahlin was the one to do the kick off. Magnus Hedman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantijn Philippaerts in the 53rd minute of the match. When Ove Hökkvist fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lite Finare Lite Bättre's protests and gave Ove Hökkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Lite Finare Lite Bättre got a freekick which was hit by Ove Hökkvist. Magnus Hedman made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Johnny Verdonck sent off a good shot on target. Luke Scheerens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Dahlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The supporters of KV Schoonwater booed when Lite Finare Lite Bättre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. The crowd rose to their feet as Luukas Schooters kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Magnus Hedman. That made the score 2-3 in the 83 minute of play. Luke Scheerens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Thedin in the 86th minute of the match. KV Schoonwater were furious when Benedict Moreau was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Stefan Bjursell walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Magnus Hedman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantijn Philippaerts in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Dahlin came free, but Luke Scheerens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Lite Finare Lite Bättre supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KV Schoonwater's performance. The match ended with a win for KV Schoonwater.
