Roldán Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Roldán Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Nicea having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Chico Igual managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Burgas's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico Igual was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavril Nicea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sporting Burgas booed when GoooooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Pășcuțoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álvaro Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Hanganu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, GoooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Roldán Delgado came free, but Gavril Nicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, GoooooL's Emanuel Pășcuțoiu got a free kick in the 39th minute. Gavril Nicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Igual in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the GoooooL defense, Chico Igual kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavril Nicea. The GoooooL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavril Nicea should have stopped the shot. GoooooL's Gavril Nicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Igual in the 49th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aron Dobrea was the one to do the kick off. Gavril Nicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roldán Delgado in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, GoooooL's goalkeeper Gavril Nicea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurin Canturri. Gavril Nicea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roldán Delgado's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. GoooooL's Gavril Nicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Igual in the 61st minute of play. Sporting Burgas's Roldán Delgado suffered a concussion in the 61st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Eugen Mănescu fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoooooL's protests and gave Eugen Mănescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, GoooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Mănescu to maneuver through the defense. Galo Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Nicea having to interfere. Gavril Nicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Igual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Chico Igual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Maurin Canturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Nicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurin Canturri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Igual in the 86th minute of play forced GoooooL's goalkeeper Gavril Nicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Burgas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maurin Canturri in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Igual in the 88th minute of play forced GoooooL's goalkeeper Gavril Nicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Maurin Canturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Burgas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurin Canturri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
