The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes GoooooL got a freekick which was hit by Nae Hanganu. Gavril Nicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Hug, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Rolando Zárate showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gavril Nicea was a little too slow when Fabricio Hug got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Gavril Nicea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Dominguez in the 18th minute. With an all-out effort, CACYFA's Gavril Nicea threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albano Lando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 21st minute of the match, Siro Menendo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gavril Nicea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 23 played minutes GoooooL got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Pășcuțoiu. Rolando Zárate received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gavril Nicea came out and tried to block the shot, but Rolando Zárate slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Jaime Dominguez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gavril Nicea, 4-0. Apolo Giraldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gavril Nicea made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Albano Lando reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gavril Nicea. The goal made the score 5-0. Celedonio Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Pășcuțoiu in the 38th minute of play. GoooooL were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after CACYFA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Râznicu took the corner. After taking down the ball on GoooooL's corner Mircea Patriciu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celedonio Saturnin quite easily take care of the ball. GoooooL's Gavril Nicea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save GoooooL from getting a goal against them. Jaime Dominguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Gavril Nicea made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aron Dobrea was the one to do the kick off. Gavril Nicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Zárate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavril Nicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Zárate in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Rolando Zárate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Nicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavril Nicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Zárate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Zárate in the 69th minute of play forced GoooooL's goalkeeper Gavril Nicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Quinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Nicea having to interfere. GoooooL's Gavril Nicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Dominguez in the 75th minute of play. Jaime Dominguez took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavril Nicea. Gavril Nicea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 82nd minute Jaime Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Nicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GoooooL's Gavril Nicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Zárate in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Rolando Zárate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Nicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Hug in the 86th minute of play forced GoooooL's goalkeeper Gavril Nicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, GoooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Menendo came free, but Gavril Nicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the GoooooL defense, Rolando Zárate kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavril Nicea. The GoooooL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavril Nicea should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CACYFA had played much better football throughout.
