The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Alpachiri AFC's Jairo Fernandez got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Thomas Papagiotopoulos made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Rolando Lon sent off a good shot on target. If Thrasivoulos Moisiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Fernandez hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Thomas Papagiotopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Valiente in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Alpachiri AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Thrasivoulos Moisiadis came free, but Valentin Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Felipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Triantopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Panos Mastrantoniou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when ΠΑΟΚ FC's Kostas Triantopoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Lon to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stavros Symeonatos during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thomas Papagiotopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes ΠΑΟΚ FC got a freekick which was hit by Panos Mastrantoniou. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Panos Mastrantoniou got a free kick in the 80th minute. Kostas Triantopouloss short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Valentin Felipo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Panos Mastrantoniou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Felipo having to interfere. Kostas Triantopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dimitris Skevofilakas hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. ΠΑΟΚ FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
