Spectators: 163 (Terracing: 123, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Arrecifes's Gilberto Jakobe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 9 minutes, Gilberto Jakobe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrecifes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Jakobe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berker Rıza Erginer got free with Chiquinho Romero in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiquinho Romero made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Mehmet Ediz Kurman sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the game, Arrecifes's Gilberto Jakobe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tamer Siraceddin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Arrecifes's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cuma Han in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Arrecifes's Gilberto Jakobe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tamer Siraceddin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 30th minute Gilberto Jakobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamer Siraceddin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Arrecifes got a corner. Los Tatangelos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Gau ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cesar Gau made a great header on Arrecifes's corner, it was just that Los Tatangelos's Tamer Siraceddin managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 33rd minute, Gilberto Jakobe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tamer Siraceddin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 36th match minute, Los Tatangelos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berker Rıza Erginer to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Gilberto Jakobe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tamer Siraceddin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Jakobe in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tamer Siraceddin saved Los Tatangelos from getting behind. Cesar Gau hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cuma Han to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cuma Han in the 51st minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Jakobe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzalp Şahinhan in the 56th minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrecifes's Igor Emmanuel was substituted for Gilberto Jakobe. Igor Emmanuel scored 0-6 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tamer Siraceddin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oddbjørn Haugli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tamer Siraceddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Tatangelos made a substitution. Bilal Pekant replaced Cuma Han. If Igor Emmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Skender Andonov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chiquinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzalp Şahinhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tamer Siraceddin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Emmanuel in the 88th minute of the match. Ahmet Arif Sökmen hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Tamer Siraceddin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 94th minute Arrecifes were awarded a corner. Cesar Gau went to the cornerflag to take it. If Oğuzalp Şahinhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Los Tatangelos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arrecifes's performance. The match ended with a win for Arrecifes.
