After 3 played minutes, Gotham City's Joakim Månsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arne Emander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gotham City reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Göransson in the 8th minute of play forced Bajen's goalkeeper Arne Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Jan Åman made a precise shot to the right of Arne Emander. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hugo Kjellberg hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Arne Emander was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joakim Månsson. After 21st play minutes Ragnar Kjellbom shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Arne Emander and just under the crossbar into goal. Arman Drewitz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Gotham City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A hard shot 31 in the game by Arman Drewitz from a close distance when the talented Arne Emander managed to make a qualified save. Bajen's players were relieved. Bajen's Arne Emander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Strömberg in the 33rd minute of play. Jan Åman scored 3-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Emander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arne Emander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Kjellbom in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Ström to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Åman in the 51st minute of play forced Bajen's goalkeeper Arne Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ragnar Kjellbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Emander was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Arman Drewitz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arman Drewitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, Gotham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arman Drewitz to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Bajen defense, Max Hybbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Emander. The Bajen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Emander should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Ragnar Kjellbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Åman came free, but Arne Emander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Emander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Kjellbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ragnar Kjellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Emander having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bajen's zone, Joakim Månsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Emander came out of the goal and Joakim Månsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Kjellbom in the 84th minute of play forced Bajen's goalkeeper Arne Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Emander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Kjellbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leo Kuse fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bajen's protests and gave Leo Kuse a yellow card for diving instead. Leo Kuse kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bajen's zone, Jan Åman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Emander came out of the goal and Jan Åman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
