When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Birmingham Railers FC's Serginho da Mata got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sait Öztek. Serginho da Mata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Sait Öztek made a huge save. Sait Öztek made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Rodrigo Nestor sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st match minute, Birmingham Railers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Nestor to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Luiz Paulo Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sait Öztek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Caio Valladares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sait Öztek. Caio Valladares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Luiz Paulo Arce struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Sait Öztek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birmingham Railers FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serginho da Mata got free with Sait Öztek in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Arce in the 34th minute of play forced JUNİOR FENERBAHÇE's goalkeeper Sait Öztek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caio Valladares scored 3-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sait Öztek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Paulo Arce received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sait Öztek came out and tried to block the shot, but Luiz Paulo Arce slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 41st minute. JUNİOR FENERBAHÇE's Sait Öztek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save JUNİOR FENERBAHÇE from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Forlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Birmingham Railers FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
