The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Lefteris Alexoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 minutes, Sandrinho Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fúria Futebol Clube and the KAFSONAS F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fúria Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sandrinho Vidal hit a great ball. Michalis Svirkos might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michalis Svirkos ran back to his position shaking his head. Jerônimo Luz struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Telis Ikonomou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fúria Futebol Clube. Michalis Svirkos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Vladimir Corrêa 13 minutes into the match. Michalis Svirkos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Telis Ikonomou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandrinho Vidal's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Eustratios Stabouloglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fúria Futebol Clube's Vladimir Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michalis Svirkos in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Kosmas Kouroupetroglou made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kosmas Kouroupetroglou in the 28th minute of play forced Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Vladimir Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Edgard Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KAFSONAS F.C.'s supporters stood up full of expectation in the 34th minute of the game, when Petros Vidalis after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Fúria Futebol Clube's goal. Petros Vidalis was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. The supporters of KAFSONAS F.C. booed when Fúria Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Petros Vidalis came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the KAFSONAS F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petros Vidalis couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Svirkos came free, but Vladimir Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kosmas Kouroupetroglou in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vladimir Corrêa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Michalis Svirkos might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michalis Svirkos ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michalis Svirkos to make the kick off. When KAFSONAS F.C.'s Kosmas Kouroupetroglou in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fúria Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Vladimir Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michalis Svirkos in the 53rd minute of play. When KAFSONAS F.C.'s Kosmas Kouroupetroglou in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kosmas Kouroupetroglou in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michalis Svirkos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimir Corrêa having to make a save. Vladimir Corrêa came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by KAFSONAS F.C.'s Kosmas Kouroupetroglou. But to his dismay, Kosmas Kouroupetroglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 73rd minute, Fabinho Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Michalis Svirkos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fúria Futebol Clube's Sandrinho Vidal got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Svirkos came free, but Vladimir Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes, Edgard Rezende mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fúria Futebol Clube and the KAFSONAS F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edgard Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Vladimir Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michalis Svirkos in the 82nd minute of play. Vladimir Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kosmas Kouroupetroglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KAFSONAS F.C. had played much better football throughout.
